Content & Publishing Policy

EasySchema lets you publish API documentation to public URLs and custom domains. With that power comes responsibility for what you publish. This policy applies to all content you make accessible through our platform, including documentation sites, public collections, and shared resources.

1. Your Content, Your Responsibility

You retain ownership of content you publish through EasySchema. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of published content
• Having the rights to use any content you publish (including code samples, images, and API descriptions)
• Ensuring your published content complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction and where your readers are

2. Prohibited Content

You may not publish:

• Malware, phishing content, or links to malicious software
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report this to the appropriate authorities
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, or illegal acts
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Content designed to deceive (fraudulent API docs, fake service documentation)
• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Hate speech targeting protected groups
• Personal information of others published without consent
• API credentials, tokens, or secrets belonging to anyone (including as "examples")

3. Custom Domains

You can publish documentation on a custom domain you control. Custom domains are subject to additional rules:

• You must own or have permission to use the domain
• You may not use custom domains to impersonate another company or service
• SSL certificates are issued automatically; we require valid DNS verification before issuing
• We may revoke access to custom domain features for content violations

4. Branding

Free and lower-tier plans include an "Powered by EasySchema" attribution. You may not remove this unless your plan permits it (Business tier and above). Attempts to remove or hide the attribution through CSS or other means may result in account action.

5. Discoverability

Public documentation sites are discoverable by search engines by default. If you publish sensitive information, use access controls:

• Private doc sites require authentication
• Use robots.txt if you want to prevent indexing
• Remember: once content is on the public internet, it may be cached by third parties

6. Takedown Requests

We respond to valid legal takedown requests according to our DMCA & Takedown Policy. If you receive a takedown claim for your published content, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to respond before removal where legally possible.

7. Reporting Content

If you believe content published on EasySchema violates this policy:

• Copyright/IP — email dmca@easyschema.xyz
• Abuse or illegal content — email abuse@easyschema.xyz
• Child safety — email abuse@easyschema.xyz with subject line "CHILD SAFETY"

Include the URL, description of the violation, and your contact information.

8. Enforcement

We may take the following actions without notice when content violates this policy:

• Remove or unpublish specific content
• Disable public access to a doc site while we investigate
• Revoke custom domain access
• Suspend or terminate the account
• Refer the matter to law enforcement when legally required

9. No Obligation to Monitor

We do not actively monitor user content, but we reserve the right to review content when reported, required by law, or in response to suspected abuse.

10. License to Publish

By publishing content through EasySchema, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, cache, serve, and display that content as necessary to provide the service. This license ends when you remove the content or your account.
